Inspired by the unique flavors of Utah, Idaho, and the Pacific Northwest, Huckleberry Grill is a Utah original. Huckleberry Grill began as a humble, catering company, serving the Wounded Warrior program, Marines, National Guard, and the occasional wedding or private dinner. Word spread and, over time, we found ourselves catering events like the Shark Tank retreat and Sundance Film Festival.
So we decided to open the Huck Truck, your friendly, neighborhood food truck! With the support of our loyal customers, we served our signature Huckleberry Pork, Dwaine's Grilled Chicken, and mouthwatering "Mormon" Funeral Potatoes all along the Wasatch Front, from Bear Lake to Springville, and had a ton of fun doing it!
Thanks to all our friends, we took the next step in 2024 and opened our flagship Salt Lake City restaurant location, nestled in the heart of Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake.

Meet Chef Eric, the culinary mastermind and owner of Huckleberry Grill, where food becomes an art form. Eric grew up in St. George, Utah. From a young age, his passion for cooking was kindled by his father, Dwaine, whose love for the kitchen became a lifelong inspiration. It all began with those cherished moments spent side by side, sharing stories and family secrets over simmering pots and sizzling pans.
Fueling his ambition, Chef Eric pursued formal culinary education at the Art Institute of Salt Lake City. For the past 24 years, he has honed his skills in some of the finest restaurants in Utah, crafting his own unique style along the way.
Today, Huckleberry Grill is the realization of a lifelong dream, a high-end food truck where Chef Eric infuses every dish with the love, flavors, and artistry he inherited from his parents. Each plate he serves is an unforgettable dining experience for all to savor.
